New specialist website for business engagement

City College Plymouth goes live with a new Business engagement website at their Employer Conference 2019.

As one of the largest training providers in the South West, City College Plymouth work closely with employers of all sizes, as well as local government and third sector organisations, to ensure that the training and education they provide benefits both employers and students.

The brief was clear, how can the College engage better with businesses in the City of Plymouth? So, the College called upon the knowledge of Studiovine to work on a strategic plan and deliver a solution.

Well, we know the College does an outstanding job, but we needed to split the focus from student and business. So we analysed their main City College Plymouth website and found its mainly geared up to cater for students, and rightly should as it counts towards most of their business, but this left us a problem, how can they communicate with the local business community without disrupting their primary business?

Our team, with the close assistance of the College, put together a plan to create a new online destination where the College can engage with businesses. The website has all the latest information that companies need and written to accommodate for small SME’s that have never been involved with the College before, to some of the major employers of the city.

This new website is part of a bigger strategic plan to engage further with businesses and shape the future of employment.
